Please tell us where in Argentina do you live? How is the weather over there?
I live in Buenos Aires, Capital Federal. Right now the weather is warm, and getting hotter! It is Spring time and everything has blossomed. Beatiful time to come for a visit!What got you into webdesign? Do you have special education for that?
Well, Internet is an inspiring and dynamic environment. There’s so much going on and so many brilliant websites, that is easy being motivated to break your own limits in graphic design. It is the search to amaze the user, with new tecnologies applied to visual communication, that moves you to be better in what you do. At least, That’s what webdesign means to me.
I took some courses in Flash and ActionScript, but most of all, I learnt on my own. Nothing beats the experience of working in different projects, in order to develop the right navigation and graphics for each website and its target user. I think you can take all the courses in the world but the comprehension in what the other needs, in order to create the best communication strategy, and translate it into a graphic design, is unique.
It’s not easy, but you always have to go further and remember that even though designers tend to do what we like, it’s not about us!

Your webdesign portfolio is great. How long does it take to create such stylish websites?
It always depends on the information the client provides you with, and the time invested in gathering all the material needed, in order to analyse what the website should communicate, so that you can create the concept that will lead the general design . I believe any design should be guided by a communication strategy, in order to be efficient and bring the most positive results. But to answer your question, I usually take around 2 months to develop a website like Prahba’s, for instance.
Which webdesign resources do you like the most and why?
Well, I’m a big fan of Flash. I love to create dynamic navigations, and websites that make the user interact with the content.

Look, look, look. The internet is a great bank of inspiration, and don’t look only the best designs in stock. Also navigate, every now and then, those websites you would like to be erased from the face of internet. You never know what they can tell you!!
Analyse every detail and try to see the reason for that navigation, style, graphics..., make conclusions about which could be the user for that sort of website…, etc-etc.. That will help you get closer to your own target.
